BEYOND THE WAITING ROOM
Direct Primary Care (DPC) means time to listen, space to care, and a relationship that puts you first.
COMPREHENSIVE CARE,
BUILT ON TRUST
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership model where patients pay a flat monthly fee for unlimited primary care, without insurance billing. With smaller patient panels, doctors offer same or next-day visits, longer appointments, and direct communication. The result: more accessible care, less red tape, and a stronger doctor–patient relationship. Patients receive the care they deserve and doctors deliver medical care the way they envisioned.

There are some similarities and some important differences between direct primary care and concierge medicine. Both models generally offer increased physician access and extended appointment time. Direct primary care charges a lower monthly membership fee on a month-to-month basis with no insurance billing; whereas concierge medicine generally charges a higher monthly or annual fee and also bills your insurance.

While not required, we strongly recommend that you maintain health insurance to cover specialist visits, emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and surgeries. Patients may also choose to use it for outside labs, imaging, and medication prescriptions. We will assist patients to find the most cost effective solution for these services.
-
A DPC membership generally covers all communication, all office visits (including an annual physical/preventive care visit), and other services offered at that practice. If there was any service requiring an additional fee, patients would be notified in advance.

We’re glad you’re healthy—and we want to help you stay that way! Still, life brings unexpected health concerns, and every patient deserves a trusted doctor to call when they need care. Starting January 1, 2026, recent legislation states that you can use HSA (health savings account) funds to pay for a DPC membership as a qualified medical expense. Up to $150/month for an individual person and $300/month for a family.

You’ll always be notified in advance of any planned time out of the office so routine care and prescription refills can be handled beforehand. During this time, your doctor will remain available on a limited basis by phone, portal message, or video visit. If an urgent issue requires in-person care, we may direct you to urgent care or the emergency room.
